03 — The practice

Built like a system.
Run like a promise.

PROTOCOL Health was founded by Dr. Amara Osei, a former hospital operations director who kept asking why primary care ran on guesswork — vague wait times, opaque bills, lab results that vanished for a week. The answer was a practice with published fees, tracked scheduling, and a lab pipeline that reports back before you've left the parking lot.

Plain answers

The questions every new patient asks — answered the way we'd want them answered.

We're in-network with most major PPO and HMO plans and file claims directly. Before your visit, we run a benefits check so the fee you see is the fee you pay.

Yes. If your visit uncovers something that changes the plan, we pause and confirm the new fee with you before continuing. Nothing gets added to the bill without your sign-off.

That's exactly the visit we built our intake process for. Full history, a real conversation, and a written plan — no lectures about the gap.

We hold a fixed share of every day's schedule for same-day requests and publish how often we fill it — currently 35% of daily capacity, released each morning before 8am.

Book with
structure.

First visits run 45 minutes: intake, exam, fee table, plan. You leave knowing exactly what happens next — and when.
