What exactly do I receive with Single Template?+
You receive a customer-specific production website created from your selected design and approved customization. The package includes the production website files, your website license, approved customer assets, hosting instructions, a deployment guide, and a final backup. The website is prepared for deployment through compatible static hosting services and traditional hosting environments. Your purchase does not include Oakline's master template, private repository, editor source, build tools, or reusable framework. Thirty days of delivery-related technical support are included.
Can I try a design before buying?+
Yes. Every demo includes a Customize panel that lets you preview approved text, colors, fonts, images, and section options directly in your browser. Preview changes may be stored locally on the device and browser you are using, so they may not transfer to another device and may be lost if browser data is cleared. When you are ready, select “Continue With This Design” and submit your customization through the project intake. Only your approved content and design selections are submitted — Oakline's source code, master template, editor technology, and build tools are never transferred through the preview.
How does the Specialty Collection work?+
The Specialty Collection gives one named practice access to all five Oakline designs within one selected specialty for 24 months. You may compare and customize the designs and request up to five customer-specific production builds during the access period. The collection is licensed to one practice, one business brand, and one primary published website. Only one design may be publicly active at a time, and a previously published design must be removed before another collection design is launched. Each delivered build remains licensed only to the same practice and approved website. Minor corrections to a delivered build do not count as a new build when completed during the applicable support period; generating a different collection design or materially rebuilding an earlier version counts as another production build. After the 24-month access period ends you may continue using the last properly licensed website delivered during the active period — new builds, new exports, editor access, updates, and support require renewed collection access or a separate service order. The collection does not include Oakline's reusable master templates, editor source, private repository, or permission to use the designs for another practice, client, brand, or website. Sixty days of priority delivery-related technical support are included.
What happens after I purchase?+
After purchasing Single Template or Specialty Collection, you complete a short project intake and submit any customization created in the demo. Oakline then generates a customer-specific production build from the applicable private master template, validates the submitted content, removes all editor and preview functionality, and completes a final quality review. Once approved, your website package is delivered through a secure link that is available for a limited period, and includes the applicable website files, license, approved assets, hosting instructions, deployment guide, and backup. The expected preparation timeframe is displayed before checkout and begins after payment and all required information have been received. Signature Semi Custom and Custom Practice Website projects follow the schedule in the signed project agreement instead, including discovery, staging review, revisions, final approval, payment, launch, and handoff.
How do Signature Semi Custom projects run?+
A 50 percent initial payment reserves your production schedule and begins the engagement. The remaining 50 percent is due after final staging approval and before launch, production file delivery, final account transfer, or backup delivery. You complete a discovery questionnaire, provide the required content and account access, and select one Oakline design. We implement your approved brand and content across up to five included template pages, complete the included integrations, provide two consolidated revision rounds, and launch the website, with 30 days of post-launch technical support. Production begins when Oakline starts discovery review, project planning, content preparation, design implementation, development, account configuration, or other work identified in the agreement — once production begins, the initial payment becomes nonrefundable. Project timelines pause when required content, approvals, feedback, credentials, or payments are late, and delays caused by the customer may result in rescheduling based on Oakline's next available production window.
And Custom Practice Website?+
Custom Practice Website is an original strategy, design, content, development, and launch engagement created around your practice's goals, patients, services, and brand. The base scope may include discovery, a custom sitemap, original visual direction, professional copywriting, responsive development, analytics configuration, testing, launch, and 45 days of post-launch technical support. Projects are billed by milestone: 40 percent to begin strategy, 30 percent after design direction approval, and 30 percent after final staging approval and before launch or delivery. The final scope, page count, functionality, integrations, schedule, and deliverables are defined in a written proposal. You own the original business materials you provide and any project-specific deliverables expressly identified as customer-owned in the agreement. Oakline retains ownership of its preexisting and reusable code, components, libraries, systems, processes, methods, tools, frameworks, and development technology, and your completed website is delivered under the license defined in your project agreement. Exclusive ownership or assignment of Oakline's underlying intellectual property is not included unless separately negotiated and documented in writing.
Can I change my template after purchasing?+
You may change your selected template before production begins and before the selection is formally approved. Production begins when Oakline starts discovery review, planning, content preparation, design implementation, development, or account configuration. After production begins, changing templates requires a restart fee of $750 for Signature Semi Custom projects and starting at $1,500 for Custom or substantially adapted projects, and the project schedule will also be revised. After final delivery, selecting another design requires a new Single Template license or an active Specialty Collection entitlement. Payments previously applied to completed work do not transfer to a new design direction except as expressly approved by Oakline.
What about hosting, domains, and other third-party costs?+
Third-party subscriptions, hosting charges, domain registration fees, software fees, stock licenses, transaction fees, and other external costs are separate unless expressly included in your package or proposal. Domains, hosting, analytics, booking, and other customer accounts should be created in your business name and controlled by you. When account configuration is included, Oakline may assist with setup using customer-owned accounts and temporary administrative access. You remain responsible for provider terms, subscription payments, account security, recovery information, renewals, content stored with the provider, and future platform changes. Oakline is not responsible for third-party outages, price changes, policy changes, service discontinuation, or future compatibility decisions.
What is your refund and purchase protection policy?+
You may preview and customize every design before purchasing. Eligible Single Template and Specialty Collection orders may be canceled within 14 days of purchase provided no customer-specific production build has been generated, accessed, downloaded, published, delivered, or used. Once a production build has been generated or provided, the purchase is final. If the delivered website contains a verified material technical defect, Oakline will have a reasonable opportunity to correct, replace, or redeliver it, and a refund may be issued when Oakline cannot reasonably resolve the confirmed defect. Signature Semi Custom and Custom Practice Website projects follow the cancellation and milestone terms in their signed project agreements. Refunds, payment reversals, and chargebacks terminate the associated website license and all continued usage rights. Complete terms are in the
Refund and Purchase Protection Policy.
Can you handle patient forms or medical records?+
Oakline websites are intended primarily as practice marketing websites. Standard contact forms and basic booking links must not be used to request or transmit medical histories, symptoms, diagnoses, insurance details, treatment information, or other sensitive patient information. Patient intake, protected health information, medical records, patient portals, and advanced healthcare workflows require separately selected platforms, security measures, agreements, and project scopes. Oakline may assist with connecting a customer-selected platform when included in writing, but does not provide legal advice or independently certify HIPAA or regulatory compliance. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate legal, privacy, security, and compliance guidance and for confirming that your selected vendors and workflows satisfy your obligations.
What does delivery-related technical support include?+
Delivery-related technical support covers access to the files and documents included in your order, correction of confirmed delivery errors, and reasonable clarification of the provided instructions. It does not include new design work, customization, deployment, content changes, third-party platform support, website management, maintenance, updates, training beyond the included materials, or additional functionality.
Who owns the website and design?+
You retain ownership of the original logos, trademarks, photography, business information, and content you provide. You receive a license to use and modify the completed website for the named practice and approved website stated in your order. Oakline retains ownership of its templates, reusable code, layouts, systems, components, animation technology, customizer, build tools, internal methods, and framework.
Does the website include hosting and maintenance?+
Hosting and ongoing maintenance are not included unless specifically listed in your package or order. Hosting plans, domains, software subscriptions, platform fees, updates, content changes, monitoring, backups after delivery, and future technical support may require separate services.
Is accessibility compliance guaranteed?+
Oakline uses accessibility-conscious design and development practices, but no website package constitutes a legal compliance certification. You remain responsible for reviewing final content, integrations, documents, and ongoing accessibility obligations.
Is search engine ranking guaranteed?+
No. Oakline may implement basic technical search foundations when included, but search visibility and ranking depend on competition, content, authority, location, third-party platforms, algorithm changes, and ongoing marketing activity. No specific ranking, traffic, lead, appointment, or revenue result is guaranteed.
Who approves the medical and business content?+
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all provider credentials, medical and clinical statements, treatment descriptions, outcome claims, testimonials, insurance information, pricing, legal documents, contact information, and account destinations before publication.
What happens if a third-party service changes?+
Oakline is not responsible for future outages, pricing changes, policy changes, feature removals, service discontinuation, or compatibility decisions made by hosting companies, booking platforms, analytics providers, consent platforms, domain registrars, or other third parties.
